In this listening exercise, we'll practice understanding natural English through street interviews. You'll learn vocabulary for talking about free time activities and practice using adverbs of frequency.

P: Hi, I'm Neil from BBC Learning English. I'm about to take to the streets of London to how people live, what they think and feel, what they like or don't like, what their habits are and what their plans are for the future. London is a huge and city. There nearly ten million people living here and even more visit it every year from all over the world. People are usually busy going about their business. Let's see if I can stop some of them to ask a couple of questions.
Ma: I sometimes listen to music.
C: Every day I listen punk rock.
Mi: Sometimes I listen to a group called Jack & Jack which is a group of two .
C: I never listen to classic music.
Mi: And me, I sometimes watch the TV in … at the weekend and I often see films with my family.
M: I love reading and I do like the TV as well.
Mi: I think that we never, never play computer games.

Grammar Focus: Adverbs of Frequency
Notice how the speakers use adverbs of frequency like sometimes, every day, never. In English, these adverbs typically come before the main verb but after the verb "to be".
