Jamie: No, never. Mike's BEEN / GONE there twice before, though. He really likes it. Anyway, what about Sam? Is she around?

Alex: She's BEEN / GONE to France for two weeks with her cousin. They've BEEN / GONE to some heavy metal festival in the middle of nowhere.

Jamie: That sounds wild to me. I'd never go farther than the nearest city, let alone another country.
