1. Olivia and James have been married 2018.

2. They drove to Bristol on Friday evening. James was exhausted, so on Saturday morning he stayed in bed 10 o’clock.

3. Olivia waited for him downstairs half an hour, but he still didn’t appear.

4. When they finally got to the café, Chloe said, “Have you just arrived?” Olivia laughed. “No, I’ve been here half past ten.”

5. They had coffee and talked about their old school days noon.

6. Olivia and Chloe are still very close. They have known each other fifteen years.

7. After lunch, James went back to the hotel. “I’m going to lie down a few minutes,” he said.

8. Olivia told him, “Don’t leave the hotel the taxi arrives. We’re all going to the reunion together.”

9. On the way, Chloe pointed at a small house near their old school. “That’s my parents’ house. I’ve lived there I was seven.”

10. Their old classmate Noah couldn’t come to the reunion. He had gone away on business and would be away Wednesday.

11. Olivia told Chloe that she and James were going to Paris three days the following week.

12. “Lucky you,” Chloe said. “I usually finish work at 5.30, but sometimes I work six or even later.”

13. One of the other guests asked James, “How long has Olivia known Chloe?” “ they were at school together,” he said.

14. At the end of the evening Olivia called James from outside the restaurant. “Where have you been? I’ve been waiting for you twenty minutes.”
